Riverside HOME Swim Meet

Our Riverside home meet will take place Tuesday, June 1st (day after Memorial Day).

Meet start time is 5:30 pm, swimmer arrival 4:00-4:15! Swim caps will be available to purchase if you need one.  They are $5.

WHAT TO BRING

• Mandatory: Lawn Chairs, Googles, 2 Towels, Hair pulled back
• Encouraged: Swim Cap, Full Water Bottle, Snacks

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Very loud, very fun organized chaos!! :)
• Arrival Time: 4:00 - 4:15 PM
• Upon Arrival: Head straight to our table located in back corner of the pool to receive your swimmer's events. You will have a paper copy (take a pic with your phone) & a coach or parent volunteer will also write it on the swimmer's arm!
• No age group bullpens for this meet due to COVID
• Swimmers will sit with their parents and parents will be responsible for taking swimmers to the "waiting area" for their events
• Announcer will be using a speaker system to ask swimmers to report to the "waiting area" based on their heat & event (up to seven heats in advance so there is plenty of time to get organized)
• Once your swimmer is dropped in the waiting area, parents can return to their seat or watch from the sides of the pool; once swimmer completes his or her race, they should return to be with their parents

SWIM MEET JOB VOLUNTEERS

We are still in need of volunteers for tomorrow's meet!  We can not run a meet without parent participation.  We appreciate those who have already signed up!!  Just a reminder junior sharks only families do not need to sign up for a swim meet job unless your junior shark is swimming in the meet!

CONCESSIONS

Pero's pizza truck will be back tomorrow from 5:00 -7:30ish!  Silces and whole pizzas will be available for purchase with cash, card or Venmo!  $5 slice and drinks are $2.50.  Our snack shack will also be open for purchase with cash or Venmo!  Candy, chips, drinks etc!

PRACTICE SCHEDULE FOR WEEK OF JUNE 1ST:

Monday: NO PRACTICE (Memorial Day)

Tuesday: Home Meet vs. Riverside (Report Time is 4:15 PM)

Wednesday: Regular Afternoon Practice + Junior Sharks

Thursday: Regular Afternoon Practice + Junior Sharks

Friday: MORNING PRACTICE BEGINS + Junior Sharks
*No more afternoon practices after this Friday*
