    5. EOY Party Date and Championship All-Star Meet

We have never had to wait this long to receive the GA Tech Meet date! It has really put our party planning skills on hold. We have our fingers crossed that we will receive our championship meet date this week which will put us in a position to announce the exact date/time of our end of season party. As soon as we know, we will pass the date & time along to you!

    6. Weather Policy Reminders

As we look ahead into Week Five, there may be some rain in sight! Below are some reminders and notes about what to expect in the case of inclement weather. While we know waiting through weather delays can sometimes be a pain, we appreciate your support and patience as it's number one goal to keep everyone safe. The rules are in place to protect all parties involved.

    - There is ALWAYS a 30 minute delay any time there is audible thunder or visible lightening in the area

    - If practice is postponed or cancelled, there will be an email sent out and it will be posted on our Hammond Hills Swim Team Facebook Group

    - There are no make-up practices but there can be make-up swim meets depending on the severity of weather (we'll cross that bridge if we come to it - don't worry about it now!)

    - Swimming in the rain is fine as long as there is no thunder/lightning and coaches are able to clearly see the bottom of the deep end; if rain is heavy enough to wear visibility is obstructed, coaches will pause practice until the rain lets up!

That's all for now! Be on the lookout for another email about volunteers. We hope you have a wonderful week!

    Sincerely,

    Coach Laney
