Hey everyone!

Please reference my email yesterday regarding information about tomorrow morning's meet (8&Unders) and tomorrow afternoon's meet (9&Ups). This email is just about ASA Championships!

Notes about the GA Tech Championship that we have recently received!

- This cost of entry for this meet is $40 per swimmer by the league (not us)

- There will be NO SPECTATORS allowed this year

- We typically only recommend this meet for advanced or year round swimmers (though we have had a handful in the past who have not been year round)

- We still do not know the date of the meet but know it will be either be 6/22, 6/23, 6/24 or 6/25 (the league says you must pay up front & submit entries before being assigned a day.... for the record, it has never been this way before this season!)

- In addition to not knowing the date, we also do not what time the session will be until it least next week (morning or afternoon session)

- The meet will take place at GA Tech and swimmer(s) are responsible for their own transportation to and from the facility; coaches will be there to escort swimmer(s) upon arrival and dismissal.

- All payments must be submitted to Mary Dodd Walker by this Thursday at 6PM (via Venmo to MaryDoddWalker)

- All swimmer's entries (up to 2 individuals) must be entered at this link by this Thursday at 6PM: https://forms.gle/gn4Z7n6SLWsoioYX7

*Swimmers who do not submit payment and complete the form for entries by this Thursday at 6PM will not be able to participate in the meet (due to league and team deadlines)*

- If less than 5 people register for the GA Tech Championship, all money will be refunded to participants and our team will not attend this season (as you can imagine most other teams would do the same!)

- As of right now, I have been told there is no Sandy Springs State Swim Team this summer so this meet will not serve as a qualification meet!

I know that's a lot. Truthfully, it feels like a lot! Crazy changes from years past - not exactly sure why. Maybe COVID or maybe because of GA Tech new rules? Who knows! Let me know if you have any questions about this meet before Thursday and I will do my best to get them answered for you.
