Hey Hammerheads,

Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers last night! Y'all were awesome and so flexible to hang in there with the middle of the meet delay...you are so appreciated! 

We realized last night that there is a need for a bull pen parent for our younger swimmers (6 & unders through 9/10s). At home meets, it is more doable for our coaches to swim, hop out of the pool, and immediately get kids where they need to be for their next event (although quite stressful!). However, with some bull pens that are farther away from the pool (such as last night), it is simply too much for our coaches to do since their events back right up to the younger swimmer's events. Please make sure to give a big thank you to all of our coaches when you see them next...they are doing an incredible job- giving it their very best, and working so hard, especially during the meets, to make sure everything runs smoothly, and that your kids are having fun. Even with this new addition of a bull pen parent, ultimately, it is the parent's responsibility to make sure that your swimmer is lined up and ready for their event. I have added bull pen slots for 6 & under through 9/10s to the sign-up genius. Most of you have completed your 2 volunteer slot requirement. If you have not signed up yet, or have only signed up once, or have a younger swimmer...please consider volunteering for one of the remaining slots. We have quite a few left to fill.

I wanted to give everyone a head's up that we will not be doing food at time trials tonight or the rest of the season, unless there's an eager volunteer who would like to coordinate and execute :). I'm sorry if this throws anyone's plans off for tonight.
