Hi friends, it's hard to believe it, but this is our last full week of swim! Time flies when you are having fun! Here's what you need to know this week:

Meet info:

Spalding Woods Address:

- Swimmers report time for this Tuesday is 4:30 as warm ups will begin at 5:00

- The meet theme is Western out so join the coaches in wearing western attire, yeehaw!

- Parking directions from Spalding Woods:

When you turn into the pool driveway, you may think you are heading into an apartment complex. As you approach the keypad that opens the gate for the complex, don't go through the gate. Instead, turn left and then follow the road up and around and then down a big hill on the right to the main lower parking lot. We plan to have a couple of parking lot attendants helping you find parking. There is a main lower parking lot and upper parking that you pass on the way to the lower parking lot. Again, someone will be there directing traffic. As the parking is limited and there is no street parking available, please encourage your families to carpool whenever possible. We will reserve one spot for your coach and one spot for the starter.
- They will be selling concessions (Please make sure your swimmer is not loading up on candy and too much food right before swimming as we don't want upset stomachs)

- After the meet join the coaches at Felini’s pizza (on Roswell Rd) to celebrate our swimmers

Darden's delights- Darden's delights will be selling pies, cookies and savory pies again at time trials make sure to check it out!

Please fill out the 6/24 Meet Absences if your swimmer will be absent

Thursday Clinic- Please fill out the Google form if your swimmer(s) will be in attendance. 6/19 Technique Clinic This will be a technique focused clinic :)

Georgia Tech meet information:

- What is it? This is a fun championship style meet with many of the teams in our area. It’s hosted at GA tech which is pretty cool as it was where the 1996 Olympic swim events were held. And with this being an Olympic year that makes it extra special! This meet also is the qualifying meet to join the Sandy Spring state team, more info on that can be found below.

ENTRY FEES: Entry fees for the 2025 meet will be $50 per swimmer and will be sent to the Hammond hills Venmo @Hammond-Hills-1 with GA Tech and your swimmers name in the heading.  

-Our team’s meet session is Wednesday 6/25 at 4pm

- We will need meet volunteers more information on this to come 

Sandy Springs State team info-

- This is a fun way for your child to continue their swim season a little longer and get to go to the state meet which will have prelims on July 25th and finals on July 26th in Columbus, GA.
