Happy Holidays Hammerhead family! I hope everyone has a relaxing and joyful season of rest with family in the upcoming weeks. The Hammerhead coaching staff will be caroling to already some holiday cheer this Monday December 22nd from 5-7pm. If you would like us to come carol at your house fill out the Google form link! We will also be collecting donations for Solidarity Sandy Springs to help out during the Holiday season!

Also as winter sports begin I wanted to share a few year round swim teams that I highly recommend for anyone looking for a winter/spring sport. Chastain Park Aquatic Center (CPAC) has an amazing program and many of our coaches including myself have swam for them in the past so feel free to reach out with questions. Lifetime also has a swim team (I used to swim there and loved it!). Dynamo, Swim Atalanta and YMCA also have swim programs that are great. If you are not sure what level or if your child will enjoy year round swim many teams offer a free first practice or evaluation to help you find the right level. If your child loves summer swim then it doesn’t have to only be for the summer and the more Hammerheads swim during the school year the stronger and faster we are in the summer!

Finally, even if you are not looking for a swim team to join during the school year if your child wants to start the season a little bit ahead of the game simply going to swim laps at any indoor pool whenever you can will help to limit the beginning of the season shock!
