HAPPY FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE CAN'T BELIEVE THE WAIT IS FINALLY OVER! :) We've been getting a lot of similar questions so we wanted to go ahead and address these questions prior to the first practice. We've included an agenda at the top so parents can pick to read the sections that apply to their family.

1. Practice Schedule:

The practice schedule for all swimmers can be found on the website! (hhsta.swim-team.us)

2. What to bring on the first day:
#1 Your swimmers
#2 Girls in a one piece suit with hair in a ponytail / Boys in tight swim trunks
#3 Sunscreen
#4 Water Bottle
#5 Towel
#6 Swim Team Check (if needed)
#7 An additional check for ordering a bathing suit (if needed)

3. Junior Sharks 

This program is only for swimmers who can not swim the length of the pool. Swimmers who can swim the full length of the pool should practice with the 6&Unders Age Group. Junior Sharks will practice M, W, TH from 4:30-5:00PM for the first two weeks. Junior Sharks practice does start today. Their full practice schedule can be found on the website!

4. Swim Team Checks and Fees (as well as Pool Membership Fees)

Swim Team Checks should be made out to HHSTA and placed in the guest fee box as you walk in the front door of the pool. It's located inside the clubhouse on the left side above the desk.

5. Team Bathing Suits

Today is the last day to order team bathing suits. Mickey (our bathing suit rep) will be on site selling the suits today. Bring an a blank check to pay him for the suit please! Suits will also be available for pick up today!

6. POOL RULES FOR THE FIRST TWO WEEKS

There will be no free swim in the big pool or baby pool during the first two weeks of practice. There will be one guard on duty from 4:30-5:30 to watch over 6&Unders and Junior Sharks practices. This guard is NOT on duty to watch the shallow end. We will have a second guard on duty starting after Memorial Day Weekend to facilitate free swim in the shallow end.

7. Pool Rentals for parties

Email [email protected] to book parties at the pool. $125 rental fee plus lifeguard fees ($10 an hour; number of lifeguard depends on the number of attendees).

8. Mandatory Volunteering at Swim Meets

Just a reminder that Volunteer Sign-Ups opened this morning! For directions on how to sign-up/a list of job descriptions, please go to "Volunteering Tab" on our website (hhsta.swim-team.us).

9. Picture Day - May 24th @4:30PM

Individual and Team Pictures will be at the pool on Wednesday, May 24th starting at 4:30PM. ALL SWIMMERS NEED TO BE AT THE POOL BY 4:30PM. We have attached the photo form below. Please print and complete the form prior your arrival at Picture Day - it will save you so much time! More information cna be found on Clix! Website. Swimmers team suits (or purple) if you have it!

Lastly, please be mindful while in the parking lot - we will have lots of kids at the pool so we want everyone is as safe as possible. As always, if you have any questions, do not hesitate to email us! We are here to help!
